SYNOPSIS

After 45 years of marriage, Allie's husband dies suddenly, leaving her completely lost. Her best friend Bea, a true tornado of a woman, is trying to lift her out of it, but it's no use: Allie has retreated behind late night programmes and endless cups of tea.

When Allie accidentally orders 11 ukuleles, Bea jumps to the conclusion that they simply must start a ukulele band. Together they rally  a rag-tag band of friends and begin making music. It shouldn't work but it does.

​

Keeping this group of misfits together pulls Allie out of her shell and onto the journey of discovery of her true, untethered self.
