Circumstances bring together 3 men in a hearse - one American and two Mexicans. There is also a coffin with a dead body in the back.
The Road to Yècora is a dark comedy road trip film, a fast-paced chamber piece. American everyman Murph, gets picked up in a hearse in the Mexican desert by Juan and Juanito, who are transporting Juan’s deceased mother to her hometown. What begins as a grim road trip spirals into an odyssey of confession, mortality, regret and surreal human connection.
Through desert mishaps, rowdy taverns, and moments that are as hilarious as they are unsettling, Murph is forced to confront his past and reconsider what it means to truly live.
Based on the stage play that premiered in LA and London to rave reviews.
